Creating and styling tables in html can be a long process, especially when there is a lot of data that needs to be recorded in the table or when you are unsure of the way you want your table to look. Luckily there are websites and templates available online that can make creating tables an easy and short process.

I had to create a table that will be displayed on our web map with information on the health sites and catchment areas. I started of by creating a table from scratch using html and trying out a few styling codes, until one of my group members suggested I look for table templates online to create the table. I came across https://www.tablesgenerator.com ,all I had to do was select the number of rows and columns I wanted, fill in the necessary information and choose a design for the table. After I had edited the table, I was able to generate the html script just by a click of a button.

I copied the code and added it to the body of the web map script and the web map now had a table. Quick and easy!
